Worked closely with investment bankers and the senior management of a software company, led the process that secured an a US$11 million (69%) valuation premium over the next best offer. The total cycle time from initial planning to strategy buyer’s decision to issue a term sheet was under 120 days.

Worked with a California investment banker in the preparation of a prospectus for the sale of an Ottawa software company. Wrote key sections of the prospectus, including market analysis, competitive analysis, and strategic market opportunity. A leading software vendor acquired the company for $40 million.

Led the development of angel and venture capitalist investment materials for a software startup, including introductory documents, presentations, business plan, and venture fair applications.
